We love to see many hands helping out with our clean-up efforts, but even if you don’t like to get dirty in the stream or cannot for some reason, opportunities to participate will be available for all ability levels. For our clean-up events, we need helping hands for:
Clean and Bread Cheese Creek are looking for individuals who would like to be a part of our board. If you are energetic and have ideas you would like to see implemented or that can improve our organization, please contact us. If we have multiple people working on this, it will make planning and running future clean-ups easier and run more smoothly!
If anyone has contacts with someone in the hospitality or food industry who might like to make or donate food for our clean-up events, it will be greatly appreciated by all of our hungry volunteers!
We want to spread wild flower seeds along the banks of Bread and Cheese Creek to help beautify the area and support the wildlife. We are asking for wild flower seed donations for this project.
If you would like to make a monetary donation to help out with future clean-ups, please contact us. Monies will be used to purchase supplies for the clean-ups such as tools, garbage bags, food for the volunteers and toilet facilities to name just a few necessary items.
Got empty aluminum cans at your home or office? See any smashed in the parking lot? Clean Bread and Cheese Creek is collecting Aluminum cans to help fund our creek cleanups! Bring your aluminum cans to our next event and drop them off at our registration tent or contact us to make other arrangements – Thank you for your support!
We love the attention our organization has been getting and the awareness it is bringing to Maryland’s waterways. You can definitely help by spreading the word of our efforts. We have had volunteers from other areas contributing to our mission just from word of mouth.
