September 2012 - Internationl Coastal Clean-up

  • Gold’s Gym Dundalk (Our longest sponsor!) through their manager Raina Dewald advertised our cleanup and supplied volunteers.
  • The Ocean Conservancy has provided some water, trash bags and other much needed supplies.
  • Sun Products Corporation has provided trash bags, gloves and other much needed supplies.
  • American Rivers has provided trash bags.
  • Entenmanns Discount Bakery Outlet of Dundalk has donated sweets and snacks for our volunteers
  • Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (DEPS) provided us with a two man crew to assist us with removing fallen trees on Friday.
  • Baltimore County Highways provided us with a dumpster for all the trash.
  • Charlie’s Discount Foods donated all the condiments for lunch.
  • The Baltimore County Geocache Club ran a raffle for a handheld GPS Unit at the cleanup with proceeds going to the cleanup.
  • Michelle Barth and Carrie Copple who made and donated baked ziti and macaroni salad.
  • Bernie Wesolowski who prepared and served the pit beef, pit turkey and veggie burgers.
  • John Wozniak who donated over 300 rolls.
  • A Private Donor has generously donated a check to help us pay some of our expenses.
  • Team HellCamino Racing who supplied several tools, lots of labor and even bought lunch for us during the cleanup prep.

Clean Bread and Cheese Creek awarded Grant (June 2011)

The Baltimore Community Foundation awarded Clean Bread and Cheese Creek a grant based on our past work and the work we wish to accomplish in the future. Thank you BCF for choosing our organization to award this grant. This makes our goal of a cleaner creek more obtainable. We also would like to thank Brian Schilpp of the BRRC in representing us for this grant. Without Brian, this grant would not have been possible... thank you Brian!


April 2012 (Project Clean Stream)

  • Gold’s Gym Dundalk (Our longest sponsor!) through their manager Raina Dewald supplied bottled water once again for us.
  • Cambridge Iron and Steel (Our second longest sponsor) provided us with a metal recycling dumpster!
  • Starbucks of Canton will be providing us with coffee on the morning of the clean up!
  • Gotugo generously donated the use of one of their portable toilets once again.
  • Entenmanns’s Discount Outlet of Dundalk donated sweets and snacks for our volunteers.
  • Hamilton Bank generously donated a check to help us pay some of our expenses for the day.
  • Moments By Thomas will be donating their professional photographic service for the day
  • Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay will supply us with some trash bags, signage and gloves.
  • DEPS provided us with a crew and Argos to prep the site and remove large debris!
  • Circle K of Towson provided lots of hardworking volunteers
  • Baltimore County Highways Administration will be providing us with a dumpster for the clean-up!
  • The Baltimore County Community College Geocache Club ran another 50/50 raffle at the cleanup with proceed going to the cleanup and supplied volunteers
  • Sonic generously donated 160 hotdogs with buns to help feed our volunteers
  • The Baltimore Arts and Music Project donated snacks and beverages for all our volunteers
  • Chesapeake Quality Traders donated snacks for all our volunteers
  • The Romodka Family Partnership generously donated a check to help us pay some of our expenses for the day
  • Regional Property Management loaned us the use of two of their employees and a large flat bed truck

  • Jennifer Hontz, a local artist, sold jewelry to benefit the Bread & Cheese Creek Clean up! Her beautiful jewelry is created from discarded items and cost $10 each. To order contact me.
  • Michael Wuyek, a professional photographer, took photos of Bread and Cheese Creek before the April 10th Clean-up. This will help us document the progress we will see after the Clean-up.
